In the name of God Amen; the eighteenth day of August in the year of our Lord God according to the computation of the Church of England one thousand six hundred fifty and four; I PHILIPP LEE of Binfield in the County of Berks, Gentleman, being whole in mind and of good remembrance thanks be given unto God therefore do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following; that is to say: First and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God and my body to Christian burial.  ITEM; I give and bequeath to ROBERT LEE my son one shillings.  ITEM; I give and devise unto my three daughters SARA LEE, ANNE LEE and KATHERINE LEE all my freehold lands houses tenements and hereditaments with their appurtenances situate lying and being in the parish of Blubury in the said county of Berks to have and to hold the said lands houses tenements and hereditaments with their appurtenances unto the said Sara Lee, Anne Lee and Katherine Lee and to their heirs and assigns forever.  ITEM; I give and bequeath more unto the said Sara Lee, Anne Lee and Katherine Lee my daughters all my goods and chattels and all my linen woollen bedding brass pewter and all my household stuff whatsoever equally to be divided between them by my executors hereafter named.  ITEM; I give and bequeath unto my brother in law ROBERT HATHORNE and my brother in law NATHANIELL HATHORNE twenty shillings apiece and of this my last will and testament I do make the said Robert Hathorne and Nathaniell Hathorne my executors.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year first above written – Phillip Lee – sealed subscribed published and declared to be the last will and testament of the above named Philipp Lee in the presence of John Yonge, John Smith, (the mark of) Thomas Smith 

Proved 31st August 1654 by Robert Hathorne and Nathaniell Hathorne executors
