In the name of God Amen, the 6th day of June in the year of our Lord God 1506 and the 21st year of the reign of King Henry VII, I George BRADBURY Citizen and Mercer of London, whole of mind and in good memory, laud and praising be to Almighty God, make and ordain this my present testament and last will touching my movable goods in form following, that is to wit: First I bequeath my soul to Almighty God my maker and redeemer and to his glorious mother Mary and to all the company of heaven, and my body to be buried in the Chapel of our Lady within the Parish of St Michael Basingshaw of London.  ITEM; I bequeath to the use of the said Chapel of our Lady within the said church ten pounds. The residue of all my goods, chattels, debts after my debts paid and the funeral expenses of my burying performed I will they be disposed for my soul in deeds of alms and charity by the discretion of my brother Henry BRADSHAW and John LECHE Gentleman, my executors. In witness whereof to this my present testament and last will I have set my seal – John More, Sergeant at the Law, Henry Cobbs and William Bollis with others there present (xxx) the day and year above written

This is the last will of me above  named George Bradbury made the day and year abovesaid as to the disposition of all my lands and tenements with their appurtenances within the City of London and the suburbs of the same and of all my lands and tenements in the town of Ware in the County of Hertford and of all my lands and tenements in Lamborne in the County of Essex.  First I will that all my feeoffees being feeoffed to my use of my lands tenements and garden lying in the Barbican in the Parish of St Giles without Cripplegate of London immediately after my decease make thereof estate unto Philipp JOSTLYN my sister wife of John JOSTLYN to have to her during her natural life, and after her decease the same lands tenements and garden to remain to Johane HARRYS daughter of the said Philipp to have to her and to her heirs of her body lawfully begotten, and for default of such issue the remainder thereof to the rightful heirs of the said Philipp for ever. And as to all my lands and tenements lying in the parish of St Margaret in Lothbury of London, I will that my feeoffed therein effeeoffed to my use immediately after my decease thereof make estate when they thereunto shall be reasonably required to Henry BRADBURY my brother to have to him for term of his life, and after his decease the same lands and tenements in the said parish of Saint Margaret I will shall remain to the said Philipp for term of her life and after her decease I will they shall remain to the said Johane Harry’s daughter of the same Philipp to have to her and the heirs of her body of the same Johane lawfully begotten and for default of such issue the remainder thereof to the right heirs of the said Philipp for ever.  And as to all my lands and tenements in Ware in the said County of Hertford I will that my feeoffees therein immediately after my decease make thereof Estate unto the said Henry Bradbury for term of life and after his decease I will the said lands and tenements in Ware remain unto the foresaid Philipp to have unto her for term of her life and after her decease the remainder thereof to the foresaid Johane Harrys and to the heirs of the body of the same Johane lawfully begotten and for default of such issue the remainder thereof to the rightful heirs of the said Philipp for ever. Also I will that my feeoffees to my use in my lands and tenements in Lamborne in the said County of Essex immediately after my decease shall make estate thereof to John LECHE gentleman to have to him for term of his life and after his decease the remainder thereof to the said Philipp to have to her during her life and after her decease I will that the said lands and tenements shall remain to the foresaid Johane Harrys and to the heirs of the same Johane lawfully begotten, and for default of such issue the remainder thereof to the rightful heirs of the said Philipp for ever. In witness whereof to this my last will I have set my hand and seal (xxx) the 6th day of the month of June in the year of our Lord God 1506 and the 21st year of the reign of King Henry VII above written.
